In our family summer starts when Bobbie's opens (even though these little kids I sometimes watch informed me that it isn't actually summer until the summer solstice on June 21st...we went at the very beginning of June). They have yummy hamburgers and they even have a black bean burger, it takes FOREVER to get your order so we just tell ourselves that they are busy making everything FRESH (or it could be because the whole place is run by a bunch of 16 year olds....). They have shakes with cool names like the Elvis Presley that we always order with a side of sweet potato fries or fried pickles. Last time we went we just got shakes and a cone with fries and skipped the dinner. A really fun date + 1!
